In 1620 the Mayflower set out from the English port of Southampton with 102 pilgrims on board. Because of bad weather, the crossing took 77 days. On December 21 the ship landed at what is today Plymouth, Massachusetts.
This kit by Constructo features plank-on-bulkhead construction with pre-cut wooden parts. The hull is double planked in beechwood and mahogany. Ready-to-use blocks, deadeyes, belaying pins, barrels and longboat are fine hardwoods. Other fittings include ten machine turned brass cannon, cast metal anchors and cabin doors, brass eyebolts and decorative pieces. Three sizes of rigging line, pre-printed sails, silk-screened flags and wooden display board complete the kit. Full sized plans and detailed instruction book lead you through each phase of assembly.

Hms Bounty, a merchant ship fitted out as an English Frigate was built in 1787 and gained her fame due to the mutiny led by Fletcher Christian against the infamous Captain Bligh. After a trip to Tahiti, the mutineers cast Bligh and 18 men adrift in the ship's launch. Bligh survived the epic voyage, only to be ousted from another ship in 1797.

The kit contains
A cut keel and frames, planking, strips and mastings in walnut and other quality woods.
Cast metal figurehead, stern galleries, guns anchors and fittings in brass.
Several diameters of rigging line and sail cloth.
Full sized plans and detailed instructions complete the kit..

This ship is a magnificent scale reproduction of The Albatros sailing ship, which was built in 1899, also known as a North Sea Klipper. It went through a complete restoration in the mid '80s, and was recommissioned as a sailing cargo vessel with classification GL 100 A4K, and still sails today.

This kit uses top-quality laser cut wooden parts for traditional plank-on-bulkhead construction.
Deck and hull planking, applied one strip at a time, duplicates original building techniques.
